Our Christchurch truck and van hire depot experienced the first snow of winter 2012 on 6 June with a nice blanket covering our yard and rental vehicle fleet. We reckon house moving in Christchurch came to a standstill as the weather conditions worsened and temperatures dropped, giving some a nice afternoon off to play in the snow.  Chris from our Christchurch truck and van hire depot took some time out to enjoy the snow: Things are getting back to normal but there’s still some snow about and black ice on the roads so we urge anyone venturing out to take care and drive safely.

The best way to get prepared for moving day is to make a checklist and then stick to it. Preparing a list in advance lays out the different steps you’ll need to take, and gives you a good idea of how long you’ll need to set aside for each one. Packing up and moving house is an exciting experience, but it can also be a stressful one. Making sure that every last item will fit into your Auckland rental truck may at first seem like a bit of a puzzle, but there are some tips you can implement to make it much easier on yourself.
